It feels like the beginning...

​The real beginning was so long ago. A glimpse of an idea, sparked by a picture, a poem, and a writing prompt, is now a novel. A 136,000 word novel. Three years in the making and now, now it is ready to make its debut on your shelf. 

Well, "ready" is a relative term. I have the book. Now I just need an editor, formatting, layout, cover art, and people to read it! The self-publishing road I'm embarking on makes me feel like Bilbo and Frodo. Putting my feet on the road with a grand image in mind, but where will it take me? And where will I end up? What larger way might be in store? Only time will tell. I, for one, am glad to be starting on a new adventure.
